Meet the UK Domain Marketing Team

The marketing team supports the Registry Solutions and Social Impact business units at Nominet. We have a diverse range of coverage including:

  • ​Small business and channel marketing via the .UK registry
  • Large enterprise and partnership marketing through the RSP and .brand proposition​s
  • Third sector, charities, fundraisers, grantees and other grantors through our public benefit offering

Whilst we have a great blend of backgrounds from client-side, entrepreneurs and agency-side amongst the team, we all have one thing in common – we’re passionate about marketing.

The team is split into three pillars: Programmes and Campaigns, Content and Communications and Web Optimisation.

We are effectively our own in-house marketing agency. But most importantly for you, we are a resource that you can tap into, as alongside the Marketing Team’s focus on Nominet initiatives, they are also a resource that you as Registrars and Members can leverage. They can offer guidance and ideas in many areas from your own marketing through to support with a co-marketing application.

Bio

Sam has quite a diverse background and has worked in marketing for 15 years working both client-side, agency-side and in-house as a digital marketing consultant for a global brand, the work Sam has done in the past spans B2B, B2C and not for profit.

Sam might be relatively new to the domain industry, but has worked in B2B tech for many years, so is certainly not a stranger to the digital world.

Marketing Programmes Lead

Bio

Sarah is our Marketing Programmes Lead and works across the UK Domain, Registry Solutions, Channel, Public Benefit and Product. Sarah has around 19 years marketing experience having worked both in marketing agencies and in various marketing roles in-house across both B2C and B2B.

Sarah has been at Nominet for over 4 years and is responsible for building out our campaign and programme strategies through to tactical campaign execution, stakeholder management, optimisation and reporting.

Campaign Marketing Executive

Bio

Ellie is our Campaigns Marketing Executive at Nominet. Ellie helps to coordinate, plan and run our Marketing campaign activities across several areas of the business including; The UK Domain, Public Benefit, Registry Service Production and other core business areas like Our Home Online Wales.

Ellie is very enthusiastic in her role and has a passion for helping businesses get online and own their own business domain. Ellie joined Nominet at the beginning of 2020 and prior to this she worked in a marketing campaigns role in the automotive industry.

Bio

Hannah is our Commercial Campaigns Lead at Nominet and is responsible for developing and implementing marketing activity for commercial activities across Registry Services and Public Benefit, working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver effective campaigns.

Hannah joined the Nominet marketing team in March 2020, following 9 year’s agency experience focussing primarily on digital campaigns.

Bio

Tasmin helps to support and deliver Nominet's content marketing and social media strategies across several areas of the business.

Tasmin also reports and manages the performance of social media adverts and helps to set up social media campaigns across all platforms.

Content and Communications Lead

Bio

Natalie is our Content and Communications Lead at Nominet. Natalie is responsible for the creation and delivery of both internal and external marketing content and external communications.

Natalie’s role includes developing and overseeing the delivery of integrated social and content strategies, encompassing channel selection across multiple platforms, editorial governance and defining key performance indicators which align to the overarching marketing objectives. Natalie has been at Nominet for over 5 years, joining in 2015 as a Content Executive. Natalie has particular interest in creating high performing and engaging content that helps small businesses reach their potential online.

Zoe is one of our Content Marketing Executives, coordinating the production and promotion of a range of helpful content and resources for small businesses looking to maximise their online presence, from blogs to E-books and webinars.

Working across multiple websites and social platforms, Zoe is passionate about supporting SMEs in their online journey, from finding a domain name to taking advantage of content marketing and SEO. Previously working in advertising and the sporting industry, Zoe has over five years’ experience in digital marketing.

Bio

Nyiesha is our Content Marketing Executive at Nominet and has over 7 years of marketing experience. Nyiesha helps deliver Nominet's content marketing and social media strategies across several areas of the business.

Nyiesha produces content plans for nine social media platforms and is responsible for updating a number of websites. Nyiesha manages and monitors the content and performance of social media adverts, to ensure they are optimised to reach the set objectives.
