Two-factor authentication or 2FA is a two-step verification process that provides an extra layer of security for your Nominet Online Services account.

This uses time-based passcodes issued by authenticator applications. Google Authenticator is one application that is widely used and recommended by Nominet; another frequently used one is Authy.

2FA provides a higher level of protection for you and your data by reducing the risk of an intruder or attacker gaining access to your Nominet Online Services account.
