When you register a .UK domain name, you’ll be able to register it for a period of anything between 1 – 10 years. You can renew your domain at any time during its lifecycle provided the renewal will not extend the term more than 10 years.
Renewing your domain name takes place between you and your registrar (the company who looks after your domain name for you). They’ll probably email you before your renewal is due to let you know which steps you need to follow to keep your domain name. If you don’t hear from them, make sure you get in touch with them to arrange renewal.
Check with your registrar if you would like to renew your domain early.
